En 2023 fue galardonado con el Premio Castilla y León de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades. Actualmente es catedrático de la Universidad de Burgos y Director de la Real Academia Fernán González. \nEntrada libre con invitación. Se puede recoger en la Tienda de la catedral desde el lunes 20 de octubre.
